Altered Reality 2024 movie review

Oliver’s life takes an unexpected turn when he receives a groundbreaking medication in “Altered Reality,” a captivating tale of choices and redemption shaped by wealth, dubious dealings, and the manipulation of time. Directed by Don E. FauntLeRoy and written by Charles Agron, who also stars in the film, “Altered Reality” follows Oliver as he is gifted with a revolutionary drug that alters his reality, leading to a cascade of unforeseen consequences.

As Oliver (played by Charles Agron) enters Spring Manor, he encounters the enigmatic caretaker Jack (portrayed by Lance Henriksen), who presents him with an extraordinary proposition. However, Oliver’s refusal sets off a chain of events that culminate in the miraculous drug being left in his possession. With the assistance of a new business partner (Tobin Bell), Oliver begins manufacturing the pills, amassing wealth in the process. But his newfound prosperity is short-lived when his daughter mysteriously vanishes.

Determined to reclaim his old life, Oliver discovers that his deal with the devil may not be as irreversible as he initially believed. As past and present intertwine, “Altered Reality” explores themes of morality and consequence in a gripping narrative that challenges perceptions of time and choice.

The film, featuring a stellar cast including Tobin Bell, Alyona Khmara, and Krista Dane Hoffman, is set to debut in select US theaters on February 16th, 2024. Directed by Don E. FauntLeRoy, known for his work on “Gates of Darkness” and “Seven Days of Grace,” “Altered Reality” promises an immersive experience that will leave audiences questioning the nature of reality itself.
